Princess and Learning About Elephants have been nominated for 2020 Green Earth Book Awards! The Nature Generation has announced the long list for the 2020 national Green Earth Book Awards, which they bestow annually to children’s and young adult literature that best convey the message of environmental stewardship. Princess is nominated in the Picture Book category for the true story of an orphaned baby orangutan that befriends a scientist. Learning About Elephants was nominated in the Children's Nonfiction category.
“Now, more than ever, these and many other eco-authors are delivering the goods that our younger generation hunger for– how to make our planet healthy and sustainable,” said The Nature Generation President Amy Marasco. The short list and final Green Earth Book Award winners will be announced later this month on Earth Day.
