We are excited to announce that we have recently won two Book Excellence Awards!
A "Tail" of Three Lions won a Book Excellence Award in the Picture Book: All Ages category. This story follows three brother lions who get separated and end up in three different places with very different experiences. Ian Michler, of Blood Lions, co-wrote this book with Sylvia Medina to educate children on wildlife tourism practices, and proceeds from sales of this book go to support Blood Lions' mission to end lion exploitation.
Grizzly 399 was given a Book Excellence Award in the Children's Non-fiction category. Check out this insightful tale about one of Grand Teton National Park's most famous bears. With beautiful pictures of Grizzly 399 in real life and lots of grizzly bear facts, a percentage of each book sold goes to support the work being done in the area by The Cougar Fund, which seeks to protect all large carnivores in the Americas.
